ART DUMP #1

I was going to write something witty and pointless here but I decided instead I'll just have an art dump instead since I wanted to use this blog for that anyway!

Sorry for the bad quality in the pics! Currently, my scanner isn't working! (well it is, but the computer that has the scanner hooked up to it keeps crashing and we need to fix it. I tried bringing the scanner in here on my computer but come to find out my computer is 'too advanced' for the program. (The scanners mostly for XP for 2000. Mine computer is a Vista. Picky picky scanner!)

It really sucks for me because I FINALLY got the inking done on an art trade that is LONG past due and now I can't color it!
So anyway, please enjoy these doodles and work in progress of my art that I had to take with my CAMERA! (Yucko!)

A work in progress of a long term draw! DX It's taking forever!

*The trick with pictures like these are to color what you enjoy last. (Example: I LOVE coloring hair! I'm not too fond of coloring clothes, thus I do it sloppy. The trick is to try and discipline yourself to do what you don't like FIRST, then when it's all done, THEN you can color what you like!) See? The dress is coming out great to to this little technique! Just imagine the finished result!

THE POWERPUFF GIRLS!!!! Yep! You heard right! I've been revisiting my childhood nowadays and one of my obsessions when I was younger was the Powerpuff Girls. I have some episodes downloaded and I even noticed that there are a few episodes I never saw. (including the last one.) I still have my movie ticket from YEARS ago when I went to see the movie in theaters. Such a great experience. (and notice HIM on the side. >:3 He's my favorite villain.)

This picture came out REALL good! (quality wise I mean.) Just trying to catch their 'negative sides' Bubbles blubbering like a baby. Buttercup and her hot temper. And Blossom being prideful and thinking she's all that and a bag of peanuts!

SPOILERS OF AN UPCOMING PICTURE!!!! O: I'm practicing more on perspective on my work so I noticed I do a lot of front viewed art. I wanted to try the back this time but still make it look pretty. You'll notice my little memory notes on the sides for coloring and effects. (She'll be walking down a hallway.)

Ugh! {Coughs up organs}

Ugggh!!! I've been sick all week! (which explains the lack of activity!)
It's not just me! My whole family is sick! (My mum, sister, and brother!) Everyone has Bronchitis and my system is inflamed which is very close to Bronchitis. Monday I couldn't even breathe because my nose and throat were clogged up! I'm still coughing and what not, but at least I'm on some antibiotics now. (I went to the doctor Monday and the idiot didn't even give me any meds! He kept saying it was allergies when I don't even have any!) I went to the doctor AGAIN Wednesday and saw another doctor and she was very pissed that no one put me on anything so she saved my life! I can feel some improvement! My nose isn't as clogged up as before, my headaches gone down, but I still feel like something stuck in my throat and I keep getting chills. (and more coughing! DX )

I've been sleeping most of the time and for some odd reason, I craved chocolate! (even though I'm sick!) Luckily we didn't have many trick-or-treaters this year (only five.) so we still have a big basket full of chocolates so I've been devouring Twix, Milky Ways, Butterfingers, Hersey Kisses, and Reece's. (Silly Chelsey! Candy's not going to make you get better!) Now that I think about it, I haven't eaten right this whole week! (Except for yesterday when my mum took us to Olive Garden for soup.)

I have SO MUCH make up work! It's not even funny! I managed to make up all the work in ONE class but It's SO hard to concentrate when you feel like crud! But on a lighter note the doctor suggested that I stay out the whole week (all though I may force myself to go to school tomorrow.) and get some rest. Annnd, I finally drew something!!! Yep! This whole time since the end of September I haven't drawn SQUAT! Most of the recent stuff on my DeviantART gallery was already drawn but I was taking forever to color them!
So, I took advantage of my illness and last night, while watching a documentary on Robert Burns on the History Channel (yeah I'm such a dork! I like learning!) I FINALLY drew a long past due art trade for Volvom! I drew her character Zoe!
Since I didn't feel like scanning the sketch, I took a photo instead:
Ain't it PURDY?! I've been trying out different perspectives on my images nowadays! Give me more of a challenge! Speaking of art challenges, I've been working on a long term painting on scenery, but lost the reference pic so I had to put it on hold for MONTHS. Just a few days ago I FOUND IT! So now I can keep working on it!

Well my head's starting to feel light so I'm going to lay down now. Maybe later I'll work more on my music videos. (I'm working on a crossover and a small BETA vid.)

First Entry whoo hoo!

This isn't my first blog ever. I even had a blog on here before but I deleted it.

Soooo, I decided to make another one because I suck! (Mainly because I want to use this blog as a sketch dump (since it's easier posting dump on here then to go to photobucket, go through all that HTML and post it.) and blah about stuff going on.

I also have a livejournal but that's for friends only. But this blog I'll keep public.
