Art Dump #7
These are just a few things I've done. Some of these I'll include one version and then another:

Sketch versions!
CGed version. I drew this when I was feeling a bit depressed. (Kinda rather not get into it.) I'm a lot better now thanks to my friends. :) I still like how this looks.
My half of an art trade I did with a girl on DA. This is her character Mary with her shadowy cat Purf. This was my first time using GIMP for both inking and CGing. Hope it came out good.

A while ago, I was going through my bookshelf (where I stack all my old art crap because I'm lazy and disorganized.) throwing crap out and stumbled over THIS. An old picture I drew 2 years ago. I actually still like it so I re-shaded it and touched it up a bit digitally but not much. To those who don't know it's supposed to be Leatherface and Erin from Texas Chainsaw Massacre. (Remake version.)

Art Dump #6
Not much today except one picture and a WIP:
I drew this last night while originally trying to practice with eyes on GIMP. (Somehow this came into being.)
ALSO, since my tablet actually works in GIMP I can finally work on that piece I drew up in Art Dump #1 (Yeah, a LONG time ago.)
Remember this? Yeah, you remember this! I accidentally lost the original to this piece so I'm glad my tablet works in GIMP so I can ink it and finally color it! This is my progress so far. (I'm going to tone down the lineart a tad bit and make it less thick because I want to make it look more like a painting than an actual drawing.
That's all! <3 I'll have more stuff soon!

Art Dump #5
MOAR JUNK!
I titled this one 'Belongs in the Trash' because that's kind of how I've been feeling about my art nowadays. I kind of like this one I guess.
This is a birthday present for my good friend on Livejournal. :D I was going to post this on DeviantArt but I decided it's too personal and there's really only one person I wanted to see it so there was no point. I tried to give it an indie feel.
That's uhh....kind of all I have for now. I haven't been doodling and drawing much lately. I've been burnt out.

Art Dump #4
Not as big as my last one but posting it anyway.
I had my art class Saturday. Usually we stay at Mrs. Mona's house (my art teacher.) but she decided that since only two of us showed up, we needed a change of scenery and she took us to a local cemetery to look at gravestones and sketch some of them .(Definitely up my alley, I'll say.) It was very interesting. We saw dates that went back all the way to 1832. And we saw a lot of grave spots for children and infants around 1834. It was kind of sad. (I think an awful disease hit around that time.) While we were walking I spotted a BEAUTIFUL statue of this angel inside some type of monument and we sat down and sketched it, then painted it in watercolor, very roughly.
Here's what I got up. (sorry you can't see the sketch very well. I used a very hard lead which makes the lines come out lighter.)
I was trying to get the basic idea down. (and trying to capture exactly what I saw.)
Then we got it in watercolor. My teacher and the other student both thought of the angel with brown hair, but to me, he seemed more like he had blonde. This was also my first time attempting realism with watercolor. I think the color came out well but the drawing just sucks. I need to practice realism more...

Art Dump #3
ANOTHER ART DUMP!
I haven't been very active in drawing since....January. (I know horrible! Schools been total hell!) But here's some small doodles that have been keeping me at bay! (and keep a wide eye! Some of these will be turned into actual drawings and not just doodles.)
DOODLES GALORE! Believe it or not, it all started off as a simple practice sketch on arms. (ON the far top right.) Then it somehow became a collage of random crud!
Since I'm scannerless, I took this with my camera and it cut off my Twilight parody! (Bottom right above the eye!) Oh well!
If you can catch these, there's two of my newest OC's! Try to find them!

MOAR DOODLES! Not as much as the other one but still doodles! Mostly of my OC Cacis and on the left was my fail attempt at drawing myself in my prom dress! (The theme was starry night.)
Work in Progress on a BEAUTIFUL Cyber Goth! :D (Blame it on listening to too much Angelspit and Porcelain and the Tramps. ^^;;;; )
I'm having a little trouble with her bottom half but I'll figure something out. I WANT CYBER DREADS SO BAAAD! There soooo sexy! (But so expensive!)
Another work in progress of an upcoming painting. (Or at least I think it'll be a painting.) This isn't the actual work itself though. (What I do is, when I think up a cool idea for a picture, I'll just roughly sketch out the idea first on some scrap paper. Then later, I'll start to draw it out with effort on good paper.) This is the scratch paper version.
Another work in progress/idea for another drawing/painting! The idea came to me during a lecture in Forensic Science. ^_^ (Very fun class!) It's a little risque but I'm trying to express an idea of beauty and purity. (And no, some angry lady is NOT going to be floating over her. lulz)
It sucks right now because of the same reason for my previous picture. It's the scratch paper version.
That's all for now yall! <3 I'll upload more doodles soon! :D

ART DUMP #2
Woow! what do you know? I'm sick again! -_-
Anyway, another art dump...
IT'S FINALLY FINISHED! My fanart of Lia de Beaumont.
RON WEASLEY!
Contest entry for a chick at DA. I didn't win but it was still fun.
Art trade for Fell--Larka on DA. It's her OC, Zex.
I don't have anything new right now. (These are all from December-January) I'll attempt to doodle up some stuff soon.

ART DUMP #1
I was going to write something witty and pointless here but I decided instead I'll just have an art dump instead since I wanted to use this blog for that anyway!
Sorry for the bad quality in the pics! Currently, my scanner isn't working! (well it is, but the computer that has the scanner hooked up to it keeps crashing and we need to fix it. I tried bringing the scanner in here on my computer but come to find out my computer is 'too advanced' for the program. (The scanners mostly for XP for 2000. Mine computer is a Vista. Picky picky scanner!)
It really sucks for me because I FINALLY got the inking done on an art trade that is LONG past due and now I can't color it!
So anyway, please enjoy these doodles and work in progress of my art that I had to take with my CAMERA! (Yucko!)
------------------------------------------------------------------------
A work in progress of a long term draw! DX It's taking forever!
*The trick with pictures like these are to color what you enjoy last. (Example: I LOVE coloring hair! I'm not too fond of coloring clothes, thus I do it sloppy. The trick is to try and discipline yourself to do what you don't like FIRST, then when it's all done, THEN you can color what you like!) See? The dress is coming out great to to this little technique! Just imagine the finished result!
LOL JESUS! O: (and notice the shadow of my hand casting over it. XD )
THE POWERPUFF GIRLS!!!! Yep! You heard right! I've been revisiting my childhood nowadays and one of my obsessions when I was younger was the Powerpuff Girls. I have some episodes downloaded and I even noticed that there are a few episodes I never saw. (including the last one.) I still have my movie ticket from YEARS ago when I went to see the movie in theaters. Such a great experience. (and notice HIM on the side. >:3 He's my favorite villain.)
ACTION SCENES!!! (This picture came out pretty gewd! :3 )
Adorable headshots of the cute trio! squee!
Blossom isn't my favorite Powerpuff Girl but it's fun to draw her long pretty hair! :3

This picture came out REALL good! (quality wise I mean.) Just trying to catch their 'negative sides' Bubbles blubbering like a baby. Buttercup and her hot temper. And Blossom being prideful and thinking she's all that and a bag of peanuts!
SPOILERS OF AN UPCOMING PICTURE!!!! O: I'm practicing more on perspective on my work so I noticed I do a lot of front viewed art. I wanted to try the back this time but still make it look pretty. You'll notice my little memory notes on the sides for coloring and effects. (She'll be walking down a hallway.)
THAT'S ALL! ENJOY! :D
